Second installment of Narnia screencaps, part 1

You can thank Ashlee for these Narnia screencaps. Why? Becuase her avatar that she just made- https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5syIUw6khA6DKf2T96EBcRGVrT3ob4cJXIHnhBkZmud13NYhZzhrNGg4TQwEuNSFm7qLQOURv_Ihu7jFBecqzHIVr-KYIGFeLRJp0aivYUPW4xzXjNzgv4DbmEoaYaP5N7DWM2735LUDN/s1600-h/stayaway.jpg - Made me laugh hysterically for about five minutes, and got me in the mood to make these.

Hope you like em. =D
Also gotta repeat, no offense to anything referring to Narnia ( I LOVE THIS MOVIE) and especially Reepicheep ;-) hahhaha

Okay, so, this one I did a while back, so now my alternate caption is:

Caspian: *whispers* P-p-Pest control! Get it off of me!!

HAHAH, Seriously, that's the first thing i thought seeing this when I made that caption.

Hahah, I wanted to do another for this shot.
Edmund: Yeah! That's right Baby! I'll take you all on LEGOLAS STYLE.

Lucy: Do you see the tall one with the sharp sword and the gleaming armor?

Susan: .......yeeeaaaahhhhh...... O_o

Trumpkin:.....Stupid human twits.

I think Miraz looks a little...loopy in this shot. Haha, randomness rules :D

Dude whose name I'm too lazy to look up right now:..........Miraz finally cracked.

Miraz:...Heeheehee, i wanna pet the mousy!

Edmund to Trumpkin: Bam. You got served. Oh yeah, scald.

This video made my life.

*Pauses while alot of you laugh*

I love these guys, seriously, I do. They make great music. They're Christians, and as my mom would say, "They seem like really good kids,." (Maybe they can teach MILEY something! hah.) And they are absolutely HYSTERICAL. Check out their official youtube channel, JonasBrothersMusic, they have alot of great, funny videos that always make me smile =D

Basically, they're the bomb. Not just the bomb, they are "Big boy" for crying out loud!! (Maximum Ride fans laugh and nod)

I can't wait for their new CD!

By the way, I saw Camp Rock last night! Some parts were really cheesy, but what can you expect? It's a Disney Channel movie/musical! What I really loved was the MUSIC! Joe's song "Gotta find you" has been rockin my room all day. =) Demi Lovato has some SERIOUS talent! Omg, I was really, really surprised she hasn't come out with a CD yet, but I THINK she's making a CD right now! If she is, I'll be so happy =D Unlike some musical movie stars (Hello Ashley Tisdale!) Demi has some real talent. In a scene where she was singing, you could REALLY tell that she was singing live in the take, they didn't edit her at all. All in all, she has a REALLY great voice (in a few notes I compared her to Hayley Williams from Paramore) alot of talent, and probably a good career ahead of her. Good luck, Demi! =D

Okay, someone posted this as a spoof on Utube. And, as you know, I have an appreciation of movie spoofs (SEE SCREENCAPS- more coming soon by the way) The info on the vid by the creator clearly states it's completely a spoof.

This may not be funny unless you've seen "Enchanted" the movie by Disney, and the most hysterical musical, among the most hysterical movies EVER. But i still think it may be funny even if you HAVN'T seen it. You just have to wait until you hear a male voice singing. Just promise me you'll do THAT.

I laughed so hard my first time seeing this I couldn't breathe.

The second time, I still laughed hysterically when I wasn't singing along.

Get strange with Dwarf pirates

Okay....soooo...In the Count of Monte Cristo, there's this part where Edmund's captors are rowing in their boat into a small cave. Anyway, there are a few guys standing on the shore with torches...

Me: This has a little bit of "Pirates" thrown in there.
Sophie: How?
Me: Well, this sort of scene was in the first "Pirates" a few times, and the guys standing onshore look like pirates.
Sophie: I thought they looked like dwarves...
Me:.....DWARF PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!
*hysterical laughter*
Sophie: That would be like, the BEST MOVIE!
.....*More hysterical laughter*

....Kirk says, Arg! I'm a pirate.

Mr. Darcy's Diary

Ok, well, most of you reading this have read/seen/ become huge fans of Pride and Prejudice. Anyway, the other day I got this book called "Mr. Darcy's Diary." It's what it sounds like, Mr.Darcy's Diary. It has all of the events that took place when Bingley and Darcy were in London, and all the places the Bennet's weren't. Anyway, I'll try not to give too much away, but this book gave me an incredible look into Mr.Darcy's head. Although it wasn't written by Jane Austen, I thought the author, Amanda Redgrave, who specializes in creative interpretations of Jane Austen, captured Darcy very well. He's a bit insecure at times, and a bit melancholy, but his sense of wit and humor is absolutely hysterical. Basically, READ THIS BOOK!!!!
Anyway, I just HAD to post this humorous section that I just read, forcing me to post it.
In this part, Mr.Bingley is very anxious to go see Jane. hahah, I love Mr. Bingley =D

The Following (until I say otherwise) is written by Amanda Grange, and belongs to her entirely. I'm merely posting this for your enjoyment so you go out and buy the book. (See? Marketing AND a disclaimer. *pumps fist* Yeah, they can't sue me now.;-)

"Bingley was ready to leave for Longbourn half an hour too early.
"We cannot go so soon," I said, although I was just as eager to set out.
"We might be delayed on the way," he said.
"Not on such a short journey," I replied.
"Jennings will not want to drive the horses too fast."
"We will reach Longbourn too soon, even if they walk all the way."
"There might be a branch in the road."
"We can drive around it."
"Our carriage might lose a wheel."
"We cannot go for half an hour," I said, settling myself down with a book.
I wish I felt as complacent as I seemed. I was anxious to go as Bingley, and yet I was reluctant to go as well. He had the happiness of knowing his feelings are returned. I had no such reassurance. To see Elizabeth again! I hardly dared think about it. If she smiled, what joy! If she avoided my gaze, what misery.
Bingley walked over to the window.
"You should do as I do, and choose a book." I said.
He walked over to me and took it from my hands, then turned it round before handing it back to me.
"You will do better if it is the right way up." he said.
He looked at me curiously, but I did not enlighten him as to the cause of my distraction."

End quote from "Mr. Darcy's Diary."

Hahah, Those Pride and Prejudice men are soo funny =D Besides Wickham... I disliked him alot before, but since reading this, my disgust has grown into a form of disgusted hatred. Blehh...Wickham. *growls* Haha, anyway, hope this made you laugh as much as it made me =D

Inspiration seems to have gone...I need to go somewhere, anywhere, to get it back.

I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for talking in a British accent, and answering to Susan all afternoon with Naomi and Ashlee...
Okay, all these captions on the Narnia screencaps are complete spoofs, I in no way think that any of them would actually say this stuff,hahhaha...this is just a VERY interesting way of entertaining myself...and in turn, you as well. ;-) hahah, enjoy the craziness

*Battle Cry* No one's attacking me right now....So I'll just practice my awesome moves till they do!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Battle Cry*

YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNNNNN

Caspian:Yeahh, we look like a cool band or something. Peter: For once, I agree with you. Edmund: Uh oh, I think a few fangirls got past security... Lucy: Yikes, you guys had better run... Susan: *rolls eyes*

Heeheeheehee...Playing with fire is fuuunn...BURN TELMARINES....BWAHAHAHHA!!!!! (Caspian is a pyromaniac, just in case you can't tell ;-)

Uh oh...Peter has that determined mad face on....Just back away slowly...

Don't. touch. the armor, man. just don't.

NOTE: The three following pictres are because I'm tired and the random idea popped into my head and cracked me up. This would NEVER happen in the movie...which makes me laugh more. Don't kill me, I saw these pics in order, and it just came to me, hahaha.

*laugh* Susan's going to make a fool of herself in front of Caspian...again. Cuz we all know how much she looooves him...

*stammers* Uhm, h-hi Caspian *attempts hair twirl* How's uhmm...beating those Telmarines going?

*hair flips* hey Susan. Goin good.*winks*/ Susan *sigh* (Fans get ready to kill Susan and Caspian AND Meghan for stupidity.....)

That girl WON'T FLINCH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?!??! *mutters* all she has is that lion...

Yess...those Telmarines got SO SERVED. yeaaahhh, thats right.

Hmmm....I wonder if this mask covers enough of my face...Oh NO!! I just realized that we have LION MASKS. Shoot. Now we have masks that look like ASLAN!!!!!!!!! (has no one noticed this but me?)

Hellooo....would you happen to have any cheese before I dispatch you?

Oh man, these commercials were SO INSANELY unexpected and HYSTERICAL! I thought it was just going to be some random commercial, but nooo....When David Cook whipped around I screamed and started laughing hysterically. Same For David A! I thought it was going to be David Cook again! hahha, I put David A's up, cuz I thought it was funnier in a way because he's the non-rocker ;-)

Sunday, May 18, 2008

Okay, I saw this as soon as I finished the last post, on Emma's blog, so I HAD to post it here, cuz it cracked me up!

My Prince Caspian review

Okay, now that I've stopped obsessing...okay, stopped HYPERVENTILATING, I decided that now might be a good time to review the movie while it's still fresh in my mind.

Anyway, "Prince Caspian was in so many ways, much more epic than "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." The music, the sets, the action, the drama, was all reminiscent of the old Narnia and SUPERSIZED AND DRAMATIZED! (not in a bad way.)

***SPOILERS. LOTS. DO NOT GO FURTHER IF YOU HAVN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET!!***

Even though the first film was adapted INCREDIBLY, I still feared that Hollywood would take away some of the Christian message of this movie. Now, I havn't read all of Prince Caspian (I've read most) but the movie was completely filled with Christian messages. Some may argue that this film was darker than the first. They're absolutely right. It was much darker, and Narnia has fallen into war and chaos. But if it hadn't, they wouldn't be giving us a very good message. (Doesn't that sound odd?) Aslan has been gone for 1,300 years in Narnia time, leaving Narnia (and now Telmarine) pretty much on their own since the Pevensies left. Basically, if Narnia was exactly the same as it had been, it would mean that the Narnians and Telmarines didn't need Aslan (Christ) and could perfectly function on their own. If Narnia was the same, it would take away from the message of dependence on God (which was shown completely throughout the movie)

One thing about the Pevensies that struck me in this is, they all stray. They all try to rely on their own strengths or, (in Lucy's case) are afraid of standing on their own. Lucy insists on waiting for Aslan to come before a battle, while Peter replies that he thinks they've been waiting for Aslan long enough. Unfortunately, many lives are lost because of Peter's self-reliance. Later, Aslan teaches Peter the error of his ways when Aslan is the one to completely wipe out the retreating Telmarine army.

On a less serious (aka, adults will approve of this) note, I was very surprised when i became attached to one of the characters that I wasn't previously attached to in the first movie. Edmund. I admit, he bothered me. He was so negative, and the one always bringing the other Pevensies down. In this book, such a major change in character was stunning, but not unrealistic. His sense of wit was amplified, making many remarks that cracked me up. Edmund developed a sense of valor and responsibility in this movie that I really admired.

Peter really surprised me in this movie. He was so clean cut and almost perfect in the first movie, in this one he got to show a bit of an edge (as "Nobody's Perfect" by Hannah Montana begins to get in my head, and I begin to feel like I'll scream...) Peter shows very little patience in "Prince Caspian" and tries to rely on his own strengths too often, causing, or almost causing, several major downfalls. Of course he never stopped being himself at heart, you'll easily recognise the Peter we know from the last movie. His protection of Lucy was really sweet, but he also learns to respect her as well, which I really liked. (He trusts her enough to send her on a possibly dangerous mission, because he has confidence in her.) He maintains his honor still in this movie. He fights honorably against King Miraz (aka, REALLY BAD GUY) and almost loses because of it. The battle ends with Peter standing over Miraz, with Miraz on his knees. Instead of killing him and finishing the fight himself. Peter hands the sword to Caspian.

Caspian, since learning that his uncle killed his father to gain the Telmarine crown, Caspian is after Miraz with a need for revenge. (He could be compared to Inigo Montoya. He even says, "You killed my father." In that mostly Spanish fake accent of his which prompted me to whisper to Sophie after the scene ended, "Hello. My name is Caspian the Tenth. You killed my father. Prepare to die. Ben Barnes actually watched "The Princess Bride" while trying to work on his accent. Okay, getting off topic here...) Caspian readies himself to kill the man who murdered his father, but is stopped when Miraz says that maybe Caspian does have the potential to be king of Telmarine. Caspian answers that he does not want to be king the way Miraz does it. In a very suspenseful moment of confusion, Caspian lets loose a battle cry and plunges the sword into the ground instead of Miraz, walking away, because his life "isn't his to take." Caspian shows a strong sense for injustice, trying as hard as he can to go against Telmarine, which is going to murder all of teh still existing Narnians. Caspian isn't perfect in his decisions, (He and Peter regularly butt heads, and his need for revenge may have affected the outcome of a major battle.) But nonetheless, Caspian fulfills his potential.

Susan's personality hasn't changed much since the last movie. Her fighting style on the other hand...Susan, the archer of the Pevensies, was cool when she was shown in the first movie. Most of the fighting was shared by her brothers, leaving her out of most of the action. In "Prince Caspian" Susan is a warrior, shouldering defending Narnia almost, if not equal to, Peter, Edmund, and Caspian. She partakes in every battle and conflict, defending those she cares about fiercely. Towards the end, Susan stays behind to fend off over six enemy soldiers so Lucy can escape safely. (Susan KICKS BUTT!!) She takes out around six, before she's almost hurt. (Not to make her sound weak, she was INCREDIBLE and extremely brave in this scene) She's saved by Caspian, who followed to protect her and Lucy. She was approaching 'Legolas style" archery movies, which impressed me greatly. When she's in the close combat, she may use her bow to simply hit oncoming warriors (who have REALLY big swords) or use her arrows almost like daggers (which is done by Legolas in Lord of the Rings and is EXTREMELY COOL!!!) Archery is my favorite sport, so it could be understandable why I over analyzed her archery and fighting style so much. hahah. Bottom line, don't mess with Susan.

Lucy hasn't changed much either, in a a good way. Her faith in Aslan makes her the voice of reason in most circumstances, and she's portrayed as very strong, trusting in Aslan to save Narnia. She definitely has her "moment of extreme awesomeness" when she is standing next to Aslan, unflinching, as the Telmarine army charges toward them. (This is when Aslan decimates the Telmarine army.)

This movie was peppered with funny to sarcastic comments. New characters like Trumpkin (a dwarf, a comic relief character) and Reepicheep (the mouse who doesn't enjoy having that pointed out too him) were hysterical.

This movie is much darker than the last (with a scary scene featuring two creatures trying to force Caspian to surrender to the White Witch. Edmund saves the day! A part where I had to try SO HARD not to scream, "YEAHH!! GO EDMUND!!! WOOOO!!!) but it's all in keeping with the theme of reliance in God. I wouldn't really recommend it for anyone under twelve, and that's only if they can handle fictional violence and highly tense moments very well.

Okay, I have to say it, THE BATTLES WERE INCREDIBLE. From a castle (attempted) siege, and an open field battle, the action and battle plans never stopped. A scene where Susan, Caspian, Edward, and Peter were dropped into the top castle walls by Griffins made me actually chuckle with awe at their ingenuity. The Narnians (when i say Narnians, I'm counting the Pevensies and Caspian) are KICK BUTT fighters!! (ESPECIALLY the Pevensies and Caspian)

Everyone has their opinion on the "infamous" romance between Caspian and Susan. First off, I have to say, they HAD to have some break in the movie from tenseness or fighting. LOL. ;-)
Anyway, anything between them until the last minute Susan returns to England, is very vague. Caspian wasn't trying to flirt wit her, and Susan wasn't falling head over heels for him. THEY'RE IN A WAR!!! hahah, most movies would ignore that and put it in anyway, but not this one. You can see that Caspian has an affection for Susan (offering to protect her on her mission with Lucy, which she declines...he ends up following her anyway and saving her, go figure.) Susan doesn't show very much preference to Caspian, but sides with him on a few matters against Peter. Most of the "romance" is shown on Caspian's side. Like I said, Caspian doesn't flirt with Susan once in the entire movie. Most of the way your discover he likes her is in his eyes. (Ben Barnes can act amazingly with just his eyes, that's an incredible talent that not many actors possess as well as he does.) To end it, Susan gives Caspian a quick kiss at the end because she knows she'll never see him again. After, Caspian quickly hugs Susan and watches her walk away, (and I admit, watching him watch her leave broke my heart) not trying to convince her to stay (as most typical Hollywood male leads would.) Basically, the only "relationship" that Susan and Caspian have (besides the quick moment at the end) is simply most of the time Caspian showing a bit of extra care for Susan.
But come on, you have to admit, they're really cute together. hahha. Don't deny it!!!

And so, here ends my INSANELY long review. You're lucky you're not Brianna, who I could barely form coherent sentences with while I gushed about the movie with her. hahha. Or maybe SHE was the lucky one, since she didn't have to sit through ALL THIS.
What can i say? It was fantastic and one of my new favorite movies.
To finally draw this to a close, *readers, who are still here, cheer* Prince Caspian was EPIC.

I.
SAW.
PRINCE CASPIAN.
I NOW HAVE AN OBSESSION.
A HEALTHY OBSESSION.

It was a jaw dropping, spine tingling, wanna-scream and cheer-your-head-off-but-you-can't-cuz-people-would-tell-you-to-shut-up, piece of awesomeness.

In honor of Irena Sendler...

Please, take two minutes and go here-

http://news.aol.com/story/_a/holocaust-hero-who-saved-children-dies/20080512084809990002?icid=100214839x1201983034x1200071364

Irene Sendler was a Holocaust heroine who, with only a team of about twenty, rescued the lives of over 2,500 children from being sent to concentration camps during WW2. She passed away today at the age of 98. She risked her life and went undercover to save children from Nazi death camps where they WOULD have been tortured and killed without her. Please, go read her story, she's an absolutely incredible woman and deserves every bit of recognition and honor she gets.

So this is what a legacy is...

Saturday, April 26, 2008

Ah, this is one of those contemplative, middle of the night posts that you don't normally see from me. Anyway, I was just thinking. Don't we, as Christians, try so hard to recognize evil in the world and try to abstain from it? Yes, of course we do, that that is a GREAT thing. But I was just thinking that sometimes some people focus on trying to stay away from the bad things and focus on identifying them SO HARD that they forget about something very important.
ENJOYING THE GOOD.
I mean, recognizing what's wrong in the world is important, but sometimes I feel that some people focus on so hard, they almost forget about the good things God gave us. I mean, really, when was the last time you breathed in deeply, and just sat there thinking, "God this is beautiful." Not, "God, what can I change right now because I have to." Addressing the issues in our lives is so important, and it's our responsibility, I just feel that around me, sometimes people just focus SO MUCH on pinpointing the negatives and avoiding them, than recognizing the good and sticking with the good instead of worrying about the bad in our lives. I mean, if we stay with the good, the bad won't bother us!
I'm not saying "don't try to make a difference in any way" just..I don't know, I just feel that some of us maybe aren't getting as much enjoyment out of life as we could, you know? I just want you guys to be happy.
Ok, I have a challenge for you guys this week. I want you to go outside. Yes, I want you to brave the harsh New England Weather *coughDEALWITHITcough* and go find a tree. YES, I said a tree. I want you to think of five things that are good or beautiful about said tree, and how it could in any way help you. Shade, wood, etc. Just sit there or a few minutes and notice how the leaves cast their lacy shadows across the ground. Just take five minutes this week to enjoy the good.

Megamazingawesomeness

David Cook's performance last night was megamazingawesomeness. Yeah. He was that good.

I think I found it so amazing because David is usually the hard rocker. He's always the one with the flashy lights going on in the background. This week, the contestants had to pick a song by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a famous musical composer.

That performance actually made my jaw DROP. Well, here's on of his usual performances to compare it to, and myabe you'll see why I was so amazed

Take THAT Phantom!

Oh, by the way, Simon is an idiot. The fact that he did this song only proves him to be an even more amazing vocalist. How are you supposed to maintain your rocker edge on MUSICAL week?

Also by the way, I PROMISE to post something besides a videa very soon! (But while I am, watch the "Hakuna Matata" Lord of the Rings vid!! It made me crack up =D

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Hakuna Matata. AND Lord of the Rings. I think it's self explanatory.

Saturday, April 12, 2008

I'd vote for KP any day ;-)

Hahahhahah, this is so funny. This is the description from the maker of the vid,

After seeing the latest Hillary Clinton Political Ad on TV, I was thinking that maybe if Kim Possible was running for President, how a Political Ad would be done for her.

Thursday, April 10, 2008

I don't know about what they sang on American Idol last night, but less than 20 seconds ago, they sang "Jesus" yay =)

Do I really think that keeping it all inside will help me? Maybe.
You think I shouldn't. Well, have you really talked to me? Maybe I would tell you.
Have you ever gone out of your way to ask, "How was YOUR day today?" when I've asked you so many times how you were feeling? Tried to talk?
I'm not going to talk unless you ASK. If you don't try to talk to me, there's really nothing that I can say now is there?
God is the only one I NEED to talk to.
Others trying to get closer to me would just be apprecited. Especially when I've tried so hard.

Ok, well, apparently the first line of "Shout to the Lord" was changed. i didn't see that. At points when I was listening to hard to the lyrics I heard the correct ones *shrug*

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Incredible. Just...wow.

They just finished off "Idol Gives Back." It's this HUGE charity effort, (which just in itself is AMAZING) but to top THAT off, they finished it with "Shout to the Lord." I'm not kidding you. All of the American Idol contestants just sang "Shout to the Lord" on National television that MILLIONS of people have watched. Incredible.

More than a Love Song by Fireflight

Lyrics to a song that I just found. They're just...perfect.

Look into her eyes
You can see she’s crying out
She hides behind her smile
You can see the pain of doubt
And if you would hold her close You could feel the brokenness inside
You would know she feels alone
She feels empty

She needs more then a hug on a holiday
She needs more then a smile on a Sunday
She’s not looking for you to fix what’s wrong
She really wants to know, really wants to know she belongs
She needs more then a love song

Listen to her now
Broken is a beautiful sound
She’s a little scared
She’s afraid of falling further down
But maybe if you let her know
And gave her just a little hope
Somehow if she knew the truth she’d come alive

She needs more then a hug on a holiday
She needs more then a smile on a Sunday
She’s not looking for you to fix what’s wrong
She really wants to know, really wants to know she belongs
She needs more then a love song

In the end
We will learn
Actions speak louder then our words

She needs more then a hug on a holiday
She needs more then a smile on a Sunday
She’s not looking for you to fix what’s wrong
She really wants to know, really wants to know she belongs
She needs more then a love song
More than a love song

Excuse me while I freak...

Want to know how to make me happy?
Put up a comment on my Fanfic that says this:

"Deep. Sad, angsty, yet majorly deep. Better than James Patterson himself, I'd say."
................
That's a comment that I just saw earlier on my last fanfic chapter...
Do you realize HOW INSANE that is?!?!
No, I really don't think you do.
Just...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*excuse me while I freak*

okay, warning about my previous post. It doesn't contain any detailed spoilers for Maximum Ride 4, but some of you just might not want to read it until after you've finished the book. it's sort of my opinions about the book in it's entirety, tells nothing detailed, but sort of lets you know my thoughts on it.. idk how to describe it. lol
But whatever, basically, no detailed spoilers, but some of you may not want to read it till you've finished the book.

My Maximum Ride 4 review!

Yes, I DID already finish MR4, and it's only 12 something on the day of its release. How may you ask? Well, I bought it at 9:45 this morning. (Thanks for taking me to Barnes and Noble Dad!) Anyway, it was easy to finish, because it was only 256 pages long.
So, here's my review. All in all, this one was good. But not good ENOUGH. *sigh*
Max still has the same wit that all of us Maximum Ride readers have come to love. Fang is still awesome as ever. There are Flock moments that make you laugh hysterically. New powers are running wild! (there's a moment in this book that is EXACTLY the same as my fanfic, which caused me to scream "NO WAY!") But that's the FIRST half.
The second half? Well, I must honestly say it was a bit dull. I mean, things happened yes, but it wasn't true MAXIMUM RIDE grade. aka, no major battles. Not even any small battles. Which I must say was disappointing. Basically, there wasn't enough action!
This book seemed sort of just like a filler between the third and fifth. And there is CERTAINLY going to be a fifth, because a question was raised in this one that wasn't solved by the end. I'm not dying right now because I know that.
All in all, the first half was great, and I was geared up for action galore...but I was disappointed. But there DEFINITELY is going to be another book, so hopefully the next will be a bit more exciting. Basically, I look at this one as just a filler novel connecting the third and fifth.
*sigh* So basically, I begin the countdown to the NEXT Maximum Ride novel...as soon as I find out the release date.

Happy March 12th!!!

Today is my Grandma's B-day!! yaaayy!
But guess what, YOU guy are getting a present!! For NO apparent reason! Or the reason could be my boredom...but whatever, enjoy the vid people! (It's to "Time and Confusion" by Anberlin!) I made it!!! (I just figured out the video thing...) some critiquing would be nice!! =)

All crazy pics for this one!! =D

.............it's snowing. Again.

Anyway, on a lighter note, it's FIVE days till Maximum Ride 4. 5 DAYS PEOPLE!!
(don't mind me, I've only been waiting about TEN MONTHS for this...)

Feel Freedom's Embrace

I don't know what this is supposed to be. It may be a poem, but it's not in poem form. It may be a message, even though it isn't to anyone in particular. It's just a piece of writing, or maybe it's a look inside of what the world may need to grasp. It sort of just... flowed when I wanted to write. Not much thought went into this. It was mostly feeling like I touched upon wherever my deeper thoughts and creativity lies. Whatever this is, I call it "Feel Freedom's Embrace."

I FEEL that trouble is in a way, sought.
Can't we just LEAVE the problems be, instead of simply crying for naught?
ASK for escape, yet refuse to LET GO of what holds you.
DWELL in the past, as the breeze rushes past, carrying lost opportunities for NOW.
Don't hold on. Let go. FALL.
FALL away from what you FEEL is holding you back.

FEEL the ocean. Have the POWER to alter destinies.
BREATHE in the scent of a morning meadow. FEEL peace.
LOOK for the blooming flower. KNOW that things will change.
RAISE your face to the sunshine instead of LOOKING to the shadows, asking to be released.

FEEL FREE.

OMG.
Guess what I just realized!
David Archuletto is the musical Peter Parker! NO JOKE!!!
If you watch American Idol, you should soooooo be able to see it.
He's such a lovable dork. His embarrassed laugh when the judges and Ryan are complimenting him, or when one of the girls in the audience screams soooooo reminds me of Peter Parker! =D
Hahha, Sophie strongly agrees with me =)

WOW.

random, random, and Paramore

Apparently....Here's my headline today:
BLOGGER HAS CRASHED! POSTING HAS COME TO A STANDSTILL!
Oh, wait, what's that? Blogger didn't crash? Then why isn't anyone posting? Laziness? OH THE HORROR!!
Don't ask me. Weird mood right now guys...hahah
**WARNING**
If you are allergic to or have issues with randomness, me and my staff advise you to leave now.
Anyway, I'm in the middle of cleaning my room (oh joy)
I still havn't found my camera cable, so hopefully I will while I'm cleaning so Eric doesn't MURDER me. I promise, I'll get those pics up man! (and do U really want to go to jail just because U wanted those pics so bad? come on, is it REALLY worth it?)
I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow! WoOtZ! I'm getting like, 2 or 3 inches chopped off. It's gonna be all choppy and awesome =) Oh yeah, I'm probablt getting it dyed semi-permanent (meaning it last for around 1-3 months) black!!!! muahahhahaha, U CAN'T STOP ME TORI!!!!! (not like, midnight black, but like, around the color of my mom's hair, you know??)
I'm up to 15 chapters in my Max Ride fanfic! I have up to chapter 14 posted on fanfiction. here's the link for those of you who care...
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4032704/1/Saving_the_World_and_Blowing_up_Flyboys_101
I changed the title. I thought it was more...me. hahahhaha. I blew up a helicopter for Rachel in the last chapter!!!!!!! hahahha. Oh yeah (to my Max Ride nutty buddies) while you're on there, REVIEW!!!! I can do it without belonging to the site. I desperately need reviews, hahha.
Maximum Ride 4: The Final Warning comes out in 13 days!!!!!!!! **HAPPY DANCE** John even knows how many days, cuz I randomly keep telling him. hahha, sorry man. Once it's out you won't have to worry about me randomly telling you the release date....you'll have to worry about me ranting about how awesome it was though! hahha .Unless, idk, JAINA signs on to AIM!! *GASP** No Meghan! THATS CRAZY!!! =P
Ok, so now I am forced to return to the dreaded room cleaning.
Oh? You're wondering how Paramore fits into all this?
Well, since you asked (You probably just forgot!) I love Paramore and I'm listening to them now.
Ok, that's the end of my blog post.
No! WAIT! ITS COMING BACK!!! **citizens of NYC run away and scream** Hahahha, sorry, I saw like, 2 SECONDS of "Godzilla" on ABC Family. hahhaha. All I saw were people running and screaming, I must say they were mighty convincing.
Ok, NOW I'm going! bybyes
After I tell you to check out "The Last Night" by Skillet. I LOVE THAT SONG!!
OK! NOW I AM DONE!!

IM convo with me and Sophie! (Only Maximum Ride fans will understand references later...)

Ok, I've had a few funny convos in the last 2 days, but these were so hysterical they had to be posted. when it goes ":" for no reason, it's because that marks a separate IM, and I didn't want it to be cinfusing, so I just clumped what each of us said together. Enjoy!

Sophie: you could have watched the video then pressed your print screen...oh my goodness..: my mind went blank: HOW DO YOU SPELL..BUTTON?!

Me: uuuummm like that

Sophie: OH MY GOSH : ahhahahahah: wow : that was funny

Me: I think you're expiring soph!! : HAHHA

Sophie: i probably am : i have been getting headaches.... : GASP

Me: HaHaHaHa : lol

Sophie: i really have : lol : but i'm ok....i think

Me: yeah, just before you start hearing Jeb in your head

Sophie: i wonder what he'll say to me

Me: hmm...it'll either be something enlightening, or something about your destiny: "Save the world Sophie": or maybe something else entirely: like... : I like bunnies : HAHA

Sophie: HAHAHAHAHH : i don't really know which one i want it to be

(the rest is pretty much just us typing ROFL again and again =D )

IM convo with me and Brianna! (she needed a name for someone...)

Brianna: x3 im looking for a name more...rugged: if that makes any sense

Me: is the person old or youngish??

Brianna: he's the same age as Damien: wait...that doesn't help: haha : they are like in their 30s

Me: ok : umm..Viggo! Viggo Mortensen in LOTR is wicked rugged: and its cool 2

Brianna: hehe I know...Viggo reminds me of clowns tho D:

Me: WHA?!?!??: how do U get from Viggo Mortensen to CLOWNS?!

Brianna: ...the word association : just...forget it : hahha

Me: ok, but how in a any universe, even YOURS, do U get from "Viggo" to "Clown" : LOL

Brianna: viggo...bozo... : idk. it just clicked in my mind: haha you made me laugh though

Me: idk why U'd go from Viggo to BOZO : ROFL

Brianna: hehe

Me: can i post this part of the convo on my blog??: heehee

Brianna: yes! : hehe : im laughing so hard : hahaha

You Are Not Destined to Rule the World

You are destined for something else...
Like inventing a new type of cupcake.
You just don't have the stomach for brutality.
But watch out - because many people do!
I'm apparently not destined for world domination.
Darn, so I'm not gonna be the next Hitler? Oh well, cupcakes are better =D

The DO's and DON'T's of writing a fanfic

If you havn't read the post before this, go read it or else you're gonna be thinking, "whoa, thats random."

Ok, most of these simple do's and dont's of writing a fanfic can pretty much apply to writing almost anything in general, except for a few (you'll be able to tell)
Ok, so, here it goes.

DO
1. Read your reviews. they can help you improve on your writing or motivate you to write more. It can also motivate you to happy dance like a maniac since you thought your story was bad and some people are saying they LOVE it in comments.
2. Listen to the right music. It helps you get into the right mood.
3. Post new chapters often. Or else people get restless, or they forget about your fic. Or they want to murder you if you're taking too long.
4. Keep everyone in character. If you make them too mushy people tend to get annoyed (I do) Reference the original if you have to. ( people have said they liked how I wrote Fang in my fanfic =D )
5. Remind people in your author notes to comment, and make your author notes funny or else people will just skip over them.

DO NOT

1. Stay signed on to AIM while trying to write. If it wasn't for a few certain friends that are on IM ALL THE TIME I probably would have finished a novel by now. lol. (You guys rock, don't worry. hahah)
2. Listen to piano while trying to write a chase scene. It just doesn't work. (I'd suggest "Me Against the World" by Simple Plan for that, or the Alex Rider soundtrack =)
3. Make Max and Fang ditch the "Fangmobile" because people tend not to like that. (Even though I PROMISED to bring it back later. Sheesh, fanfic readers *shakes head*)

Tah-Dah.

Cargo pants, Lighthouse Land, and Fanfics

GAAAHHHH..... I know I havn't given you guys a good post in a really long time! I havn't had much interesting stuff to post unfortunately. Hmm...lets see...I went to the mall with my mom the day before yesterday, and I bought tan and black cargo pants! WoOtZ!! (I'll be sporting my new black cargo's tonight. lol) Oh yeah, I saw a guy there who looked like Matt from Attaboy! For a second I thought it was him, but then I got a closer look and realized it wasn't. Too bad, I would have probably said hi.
I'm reading a really good book called "Lighthouse Land" right now. It's a sci-fi. It's very interesting, but one of the main reasons I love it is because of the dialogue between the two main characters, Jamie and Ramsay. They're absolutely hysterical. I'll try to find some quotes and post them later.
Hmm...uhh..do I have anything else?
OH YEAH!!! I started writing a Maximum Ride fanfic to fill the void that waiting for Maximum Ride 4 has brought into my life, which most of my Max Ride fanatic buddies already know about. I've had it on a Fanfiction website, and I already have 16 reviews and 508 hits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *screams and happy dances* last time I checked my hits (yesterday) it was at 412!!!!!!! Everyone is loving the fic, which makes me happy =D
So yeah, thats all about my life for now. Of yeah, YG tonight!!!!!! I havn't been there in like, 3 WEEKS!!!!!!!! =O I'm psyched!!!!!! =D

Thursday, January 31, 2008

Ok, I'm posting at by Dad's best friend Adam's house...lets just say things are getting weird over here, fast. But if you've seen my dad and Adam together thats understandable....lol.
He's currently blasting "Who let the dogs out." no joke.
SAVE ME!!!!! O.O

Tuesday, January 22, 2008

Just FYI

If you walk around in the supermarket quietly singing along to "Kiss Me" and "Far Away" cuz you're SO INSANELY BORED and being forced to push that cart that INSISTED on going left no matter WHAT, you will get stared at, and old ladies will smile. Just so you know.

Ashlee

Ashlee came over today, and it was, of course, awesome. We were really random...lol. We watched part of Alex Rider, and ate brownies, and had a "slide across the wood floor in socks competition." lol. We also imaginarily rocked out on my electric guitar. (go see Ashlee's blog for that part, hahah)
BTW, we're trying to figure out if Alex is Czechoslovakian (WHOA!! just did spell check and got it right the first time, WoOtZ!!!!) hahahhahahahah. looooong story guys. Are any of you out there Czechoslovakian? just wondering. That's a very odd question, I know, but I know an even weirder question, "Are you from the Democratic republic of the Congo??" lol
Here's two random quotes from me and Ashlee today.
(As we're putting BROWNies into the oven)
Me: I'm not exactly sure how long we should put them in for.
Ashlee: just until they start to turn brown.
Me: They're ALREADY brown!

Ashlee: I'm telling you, Chinese people are taking over the world!

HAHAHAHAH. I luv U Ashlee! lol. =D

HELP, I'M BEING ATTACKED BY SNAILS!!!

HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
My little bro just wrote that for his english class. He go the inspiration cuz there were snails on the page, and he had to write a sentence that would end in a exclamation point...
ROFL.
Kyle gets his props for that one!

Ace is officially one of the coolest guy names ever. No doubt. Period.
ACE. That name rocks, it's agreed on my me and Rachel. So it has to be true, duh!

Long story guys.....preferred by Rachel that I didn't tell it. But the main thing is, Ace is among the coolest names EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (she capitalized and added the million exclaimation points BTW)

I am fortunately going to be getting a new bed soon, cuz this one is not very comfortable and too small. lol. I love my beanbag!!
