But he just lifted his shield, hiding behind it. Her hands met the cool wood. She gently pushed it downward. Looking upon his battlescarred face and hard eyes, she whispered, "It's okay." The warrior stared hard for a moment, then lowered his head as tears seeped from his eyes. "You're my enemy." he said. "I'm your enemy because I tore your shield away. I'm your most worthy enemy because you can't appear so strong anymore." She replied softly. "It's okay." he whispered.
