But he just lifted his shield, hiding behind it. Her hands met the cool wood. She gently pushed it downward. Looking upon his battlescarred face and hard eyes, she whispered, "It's okay." The warrior stared hard for a moment, then lowered his head as tears seeped from his eyes. "You're my enemy." he said. "I'm your enemy because I tore your shield away. I'm your most worthy enemy because you can't appear so strong anymore." She replied softly. "It's okay." he whispered.
Ok, I'm posting at by Dad's best friend Adam's house...lets just say things are getting weird over here, fast. But if you've seen my dad and Adam together thats understandable....lol.
He's currently blasting "Who let the dogs out." no joke.

I can totally hear it now. Meghan, if you can't beat 'em (and we both know you can't; no one could!) you might as well join 'em. "Who Let the Dogs Out" is kind of a fun song, anyway.
